Our philosophy

Robed man displaying three jewels
We believe everyone has innate skills and talents, or “jewels.”

Our philosophy guides our growth while keeping us rooted in our founding principles. It plays a critical role in everything we do at YARUKI Switch Group and YARUKI Switch Career.

We believe all individuals are born with innate skills and talents, or "jewels." Our mission is to help identify, foster, and polish these skills, and provide our full support to ensure our students can use these skills to perform to the best of their abilities later in life.

"Yaruki" is the Japanese word for motivation. Each and every day, we strive to motivate and inspire our students, so we can connect them to a prosperous future society and bring delight to their parents and families through their achievements.

YARUKI Switch Group philosophy

We are dedicated to finding the jewel within every single individual of the world and providing full support to make that jewel shine, contributing to a society in which they, with their YARUKI Switch ON, live happily by exercising their powers of "Independence," "Collaborative Creation," and "Imagination."

Power of Independence (Jibun-Ryoku)

At YARUKI Switch Group, we don’t just focus on academics, we also explore children’s interests and hobbies, uncovering aspects even parents may not have noticed. By building intentional success experiences based on these discoveries, we create a cycle where children proactively seek new goals on their own.

This is precisely what it means to demonstrate the "Power of Independence" and to have one’s "YARUKI Switch" turned on. In this way, children develop the ability to think, decide, and act independently.

Power of Collaborative Creation (Kyoso-Ryoku)

The support system created by parents, school directors, and instructors recognizes children’s growth and achievements, helping to sustain their motivation. Through this support system, children develop the ability to be influenced by others. In turn, they also become aware of their ability to influence others.

By accepting and collaborating with others, mutually inspiring positive influence, and building on shared success experiences, they develop the ability to create new value. Furthermore, we aim to nurture the ability to perceive not only the people around them but also various events and social phenomena as part of collaborative relationships.

Power of Imagination (Sozo-Ryoku)

In addition to building relationships with others, it is vital to cultivate the ability to envision and navigate unknown futures. In classrooms, children write about "My Dream," encouraging them to actively imagine and work towards their future. Furthermore, at Kids Duo and Ninja Nine, children engage in activities and sports together, regardless of grade level, helping them develop the ability to imagine others’ feelings. Through these experiences, children gain opportunities to use their imagination to explore the unknown and understand things they have yet to encounter.
