Directly managed and franchise schools

YARUKI Switch Group has four English-education brands: i Kids Star, Kids Duo, Kids Duo International, and WinBe. Each brand has directly managed and franchise locations.

Directly managed schools are owned and operated by YARUKI Switch Group. Franchise locations are owned and run by independent owners who have an agreement with YARUKI Switch Group.

There can be differences between the two types of schools. In some cases, employee contract details can vary between franchise locations. Also, some franchise owners may have slightly different approaches to day-to-day business operations, often to suit the communities they operate in and the strengths of their staff.

What unites all of the approximately 2,400 schools in the YARUKI Switch Group network – including directly managed and franchise schools – is our commitment to our shared mission and values. We believe that through our high-quality classes and well-researched curriculums, we can empower young learners to cultivate their talents and abilities. This will enable them to build motivation, lead happy, fulfilling lives, and contribute to a prosperous future society.
